History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Chem was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Merchant for the past few years.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Layabout who has hired her part-time. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born into a rich family. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Volen never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
