History: He was raised in a plains tribe. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Peter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
