History: Anselm was born with his mother's beautiful face. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Myria's homeland. Myria decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Hupe was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
