Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Serpent grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Serpent. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Kadana lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day when Kadana was young, her father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her father dropped to the ground dead. Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Kadana was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. She has never given up on her writing dream.
