Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her hair is long and golden with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small blue clips. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and sabotage a competitor
