Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arnold studied abroad. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arnold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dain grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dain. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and seeks redemption

History: He comes from a rich western family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Garl never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
