History: Akmen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. His hair is short and chestnut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Geoffrey is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered green stockings. She wears a colorful flower in her auburn hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She got into the Merchant business at a young age. Her childhood dream was to be a Performer, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult

Description: She is a pot bellied northern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She wears her golden hair up. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Werydd hails from a village terrorized by brigands. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Revenge; and many brigands want her driven away
