Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. After coming to the age of reason, Shanairla took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Gilkass and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bather born in the past three hundred years. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Calcitro learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Calcitro never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
