When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Assassin. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Assassin for hire.
