History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She worked as a nervous Painter and found it very stressful. She has achieved small success as a Painter.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy auburn stubble. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has a hunchback. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. He has gray eyes and a white hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Purban was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: 5'4" and muscular, this southern woman is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. She has shaved her head bald. Her eyes are gray and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a blue coat with grey slacks. His chestnut hair is long and unkept. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he's looking for his big break
