History: Born to a Bather, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Burto was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.
