History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Ar-Baruk was born the youngest of three triplets. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. A freak accident while working with her Fortune-teller father left her crippled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
