History: Gifted from a young age, Hobart studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Hobart took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She got into the Laborer business at a young age. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and balancing her hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult
