She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Hunter, and she later adopted a second son.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Sarai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Sarai was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.
