Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she wants to get laid

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He dresses well, wearing green shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels threatened by others
