Description: She wears silk and lounges about seductively. She carries with her a set of scimitars, each one with a ruby on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She keeps her long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: Valanthe is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is an amazing painter.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valanthe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

Description: Standing 5'3", this woman is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
History: Murook was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he prefers to wear green pants and tee shirts. His blue crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gorbundus fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, and carries tridents. His black hair is cut short. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.
Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Nuraval alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Nuraval was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has money and likes to spend it
