History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
