History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls.

History: Born in the west to a Sailor, Miles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
