History: Biri lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Map Maker mother left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Himo grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Bather, but he got bored and became a Cook. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
