History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mara. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Sellsword, and she later adopted a second son.
