Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a white broad hat and white clothes. She has a long blonde ponytail with little hanging trinkets. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Verna embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Verna lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she is greedy

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized red coat. Her blonde hair is thinning but still full. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a Interpreter, her father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to clean up the streets

Voice: Speaks fast with a slight lisp

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering his clean studded leather. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she tends to wear a large brown jacket. She sports a flattop fur cut. She has copper eyes.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and wishes to resurrect an old love
