History: Thomas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
