Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are hazel.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Pyntle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now owns her own business.

Description: He very much looks the part of a Merchant. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He got into the Merchant business at a young age. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has worked as a Merchant like his father before him.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This woman is very fat, and is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She has wavy red hair. Her hazel eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp.
