History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Kilvar and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Kilvar discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Kilvar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Don was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
