History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Nithther never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: Melech speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Melech enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gomory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and he has money and likes to spend it
