Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
