History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Qualen liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently the stress of being a Blacksmith has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. A true patriot, Sweet would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Donella was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Stableman. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He keeps his rusty crest in a flapper bob. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and retire the richest man in the west
