Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. After months of barely getting by, Thervan managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and money/treasure

Description: This woman wears dull brown sweaters, loose pastel pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed spear, just in case, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her cinnamon fur is unkempt and raggedy. Her fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burto embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Architect profession.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Burto grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new barber responsibilities is difficult
