History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
