Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: She wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her shortbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. Her crest, while still mostly scarlet, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born in the east to a Marshal, Tatyan learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tatyan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tatyan. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Description: 5'2" and muscular, this eastern man wears dull tan sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed greataxe, just in case. His black hair is thinning but still full. He has violet eyes and a tan hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Carter profession.

History: Born in the east to a Fortune-teller, Efferil learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: To pay off his debts.
