Personality: He is fixated on the number 41. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Heskan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Through the years after Kasdeya was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kasdeya's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
