Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears suspenders and blue workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Stableman but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
