History: Gifted from a young age, John studied abroad. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Oppah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Oppah was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
