History: Pallabar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Pallabar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She tends to her Healer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
