History: Nordak was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Nordak was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Being a Sage kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
