She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a Mercenary, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and retire the richest woman in the west

History: Born in the north to a Performer, Beast learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Performer like his father before him.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
