Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Raer took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. During his travels, Raer and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Raer discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Raer fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Akra was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
