History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Merla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly shields and sais. He has a very tight haircut. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: The child of a Healer, who enjoyed hunting, Alex was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Healer, but he got bored and became a Miner. Being a Miner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. She keeps her long bronze crest kept up in a rat tail. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for her, and Megren does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Megren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Megren was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Megren's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
