History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Artin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sorath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Sorath liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
