Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Doctor arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Rurik alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends
