History: Pearl was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Mercenary, but she got bored and became a Shipwright. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Nicholas's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Hobart was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he loathes his own lifestyle
