History: Shadow lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Layabout, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available she will default to her sai. Her brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are amber.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Elama was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Seven alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
