History: He was raised in a plains tribe. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
