Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is greedy

History: Two Llamas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bowyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bowyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Bowyer like his mother before him.
