History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Darrak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Rose enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Rose was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Carpenter. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a rival would like him out of the picture
