History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Smoking was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She's also a talented Mercenary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Slave Trader responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and gnomish compassion

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Conrad abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against illithids
