His mother taught him the rudiments of the Courier arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Patrick was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by his family; and he wants revenge against brigands

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rohesia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She became a Baker soon after.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and balancing her hectic life and new baker responsibilities is difficult
