Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A 5'0" western man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His black hair is braided into rings. His red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Nirgel was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Armorer. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He tends to his Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Dragonborn compassion.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and sabotage a competitor
