History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Helgret was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.
