History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Prosperine was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Jeweler and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
